He is a member of the AIIMS Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and was formerly an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at AIIMS, New Delhi, as well as an Assistant Officer-in-Charge of AIIMS Casualty Services. He was the Organising Secretary of the Annual Conference of the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand, a former editorial board member of the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics and a former executive committee member of the Geriatric Society of India. He received the Johnson & Johnson Travelling Fellowship.
