He went on to an MD (Pediatrics) from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi University, in 2016 and a DM (Pediatric Cardiology) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2019.
Pediatric cardiology is the branch concerned with heart conditions in infants, children and adolescents. He treats congenital heart disease, pediatric heart failure and cardiac rhythm disorders. His procedures include fetal echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography and interventional pediatric cardiology, and his special interests cover fetal cardiac screening, newborn cardiac evaluation, congenital heart defect management, cardiac imaging and preventive pediatric cardiology.
He has previously been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS, New Delhi, and a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. His awards include the Dr. Jagdish Lal Kapila Medal in Cardiology from AIIMS, the Dr. Savitri Srivastava Imaging Award, the First Position in the Cardiology Quiz at the Annual Conference of the Indian College of Cardiology, and the Torrent Young Scholar Award (National Round).
