She is a member of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), the Children's Oncology Group (COG), the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and its Pediatric Hematology Oncology chapter (PHO). Her awards include a research paper award at RGCON 2014, an international conference, and the Heinz fellowship from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, London, in 2001. In 1996 she received the Gulati Foundation Fellowship (USA) to train in a stem cell laboratory at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, New York.
