He received the Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 from the Oncology Forum and the Gen KS Master silver medal in the Advanced service course in pathology. His previous positions include Senior Consultant and HOD of Histopathology and Cytopathology at Dr. B.L. Kapur Memorial Hospital, New Delhi, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology at AFMC, Pune, Associate Professor at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and Classified Pathologist at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt and at Military Hospital, Jammu.
